Where Are The Chargers?
If you’re making the switch to an electric vehicle, one of the questions you probably have top of mind is “where are the chargers?” As electric vehicles rise in popularity, you’ll start to see more EV charging stations installed across the country.
Giving your EV a boost while you’re on the road depends on where you can access public charging stations while travelling.
We turned to Signature Electric’s Mark Marmer and he explains how you can find electric vehicle charging stations in your area. In this video, Mark answers two common questions he often hears about finding charging stations:
- What are Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 charges and when should they be used?
- Is electric charging free?
If your vehicle has limited battery range, you don’t have a charger at home, or you’re taking a longer trip, make sure to plan ahead. Most electric vehicles have an internal navigation system that allows you to input your destination and you can plan a route based on the charging stations in your area. This system takes your current mileage and location and tells you the battery percentage you’ll have once you arrive at your destination. From there, you can find a route that works for you.
