As part of the Government of Canada’s mission to transition to a low-carbon future, the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program offers funding to support electric vehicle charging infrastructure (level 2 and higher) wherever we live, work and play. ZEVIP is administered through three key funding streams and is available until 2027.
NRCan just announced a new round of funding for EV charging infrastructure projects in multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs), workplaces, public places, on-street, and light-duty vehicle fleets. The ZEVIP program will cover up to 50% of your total project costs. Maximum funding amount is dependent on your charger level — for level 2 chargers up to $5000 per connector and for fast chargers up to $100,000. Visit NRCan to learn more and see if you’re eligible.
