Property managers are busy people. Between communicating with staff and tenants, keeping on top of condo news and law, and managing the actual property, they are always on the go. To make their life a little easier, we’ve been offering more than condo electrical services and in fact, provide electrical supplies and deliveries.

We keep utility and electrical rooms stocked so that if something comes up, it can be handled immediately. In a condo situation, a simple problem can turn into a huge inconvenience for tenants if it isn’t solved quickly. Not having a properly stocked utility or electrical room means that if something goes, you might have to order specific supplies and we all know that this won’t be the fastest or cheapest fix.

If you’ve been following The Electric Blog, you might already be thinking of the post I wrote about one of my customers needing spare fuses. We went through the reasons why a poorly timed blown fuse could result in a frustrating experience and the best ways to ensure that you’re prepared and able to avoid the stress and cost.

Feel free to read the post “Being Prepared, Spare Fuses” for the full story.

Getting back to electrical supplies and deliveries, I figured that a blog post would be the perfect place to let you know about the electrical supplies we offer along with our electrical maintenance and services.

Electrical Supplies:

We pride ourselves on being available for electrical maintenance 24 hours a day, but we can’t stock our trucks with every fuse or control for every kind of situation. We would need to start bringing semis to each site! Maintaining a number of these electrical supplies ensures that we can get the job done immediately.

  • Fuses
  • Electrical Heating Controls

Lighting:

A quick side note: At Signature Electric, we suggest that our property managers install LED lights in their condo building because they have low energy costs, require less maintenance, provide better light quality, and are environmentally friendly. Take a peek at our post about LED lights!

  • Interior and Exterior Lighting
  • Landscape Lighting
  • Emergency Lighting
  • Lamps
  • Ballasts and Associated Parts

Other:

If you’ve read this and just thought, “I definitely need some of these!” get in touch with us. We can do a full evaluation of what you should have in stock and the best way to store these electrical supplies. We will also provide you with special bulk pricing for things like fuses and will even deliver to your site for free.

We truly believe that having these electrical supplies on hand is important and will go out of our way to set you up with a system that works for your building.

As we have said before, changing fuses or doing any other electrical work can be dangerous and needs to be handled by an electrician. Having spare parts means that this electrician can come in and do the job quickly and cost efficiently.
