Tesla Powerwall installations, feat in the Toronto Star

World’s first certified Active House

We recently had the opportunity to collaborate on an amazing project with builders/developers Great Gulf Homes and Superkul architects. The home is the worlds first certified Active House, with its design originating in Denmark, combining sustainable construction and energy efficiency.

High ceilings, large windows and a modern design using a cross-axial layout provide a sense of space and light.

Housing a family of five, a focus of the project was the friendly approach to incorporating technology, making it easier for a regular family to manage. In addition to its solar panels, the house is equipped with the Tesla Powerwall, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery manufactured by Tesla for home use.
